The Air Cadets is for anyone aged between 13 - 20, and you can join as a cadet bewteen the ages of 13 and 17.  If you can name an activity, the Air Cadets have proably done it. From Flying and Gliding to Combat skills, we arguably have more activities than any other Youth Orginisation in the UK. It's also a great head start if you're thinking about joining the RAF. Most Uniform is provided free of charge, and Cadets pay just £1 per parade night to help with running costs of the squadron, however if you're coming for your first time no need to worry you'll be told when you'll have to start bringing your subs in. Many activities are free, such as flying and gliding, or heavily subsidised, such as annual camps, by the RAF.

Why not visit us on a Squadron night and see what the Air Cadets and 1871 (Rugeley) Squadron is like. You can find where we are in the 'Contact Us' section of the website, and we parade every Monday and Thursday between 7.00 and 9.30pm. Bring along your parents, come on your own or bring along some friends. Either way you'll be welcomed by our friendly cadets and staff. Theres no obligation to join, and on the first night we'll be able to show you what we do in much more detail.
